2023 Contributions
In 2023, The Martha's Vineyard Bank Charitable Foundation donated 381 grants totaling over $2.2 million to 169 nonprofit organizations.
Some notable awards include:
Our grant to Martha's Vineyard Fishermen's Preservation Trust enabled the purchase of a commercial flash freezer which will lengthen the storage life of locally caught seafood, which can then be distributed in our community.
With our grant, Harbor Homes MV was able to fund emergency electrical and plumbing repairs for congregate housing.
Our grant to Neighborhood Falmouth funded programs to help Falmouth seniors live independently, safely, and comfortably at home for as long as practical with support, information, and services.
With our grant, Misty Meadows Equine Learning Center was able to offer Martha's Vineyard schoolchildren scholarships for lessons and programs.
Our grant to Island Theater Workshop enabled the rental of a series of puppets for a community theater production of Little Shop of Horrors.
Our grant to Zephyr Education Foundation funded the On-the-Water Ocean Science and Technology Program for Falmouth and Martha's Vineyard middle and high school students.View the other organizations below:

I have worked for Martha's Vineyard Bank for 17+ years and am proud of their commitment to the community. The bank encourages employees to be involved in giving back to the community by offering a program that allows us to choose a charity of our choice to receive a donation to be made by the bank. In addition to that, the bank has a matching donation program. I am honored to work for an organization that is so invested in giving back to the communities where we work.
